CSA stands for community-supported agriculture. CSA programs connect communities with their local farmers. Prior to the growing season, community members in Ottawa & Gatineau pay a subscription to our farm in exchange for a weekly box of fresh vegetables.
For $500.00, the CSA member receives:
17 weeks of certified organic vegetables from June to October.
8-10 seasonal items per week valued at $30.00. Works best for couples and small families.
A weekly newsletter with recipe ideas, storage tips, and stories from the farm.

How does it work?
CSA members play a central role in our farm. By joining our CSA, you are directly supporting us in our mission to grow tasty, nutrient-dense food using regenerative farming practices.
Memberships are paid in the early spring, which helps us in buying our seeds, compost, and the tools that we use every day on the farm. In return for your support, you will receive a diverse box of seasonal vegetables each week throughout the growing season.
Every week, members pick up their share at a designated pick-up location. Some of the vegetables in your share are selected by us, and you get to choose others during the pick-up. Below you can see some examples of the veggies that will be available on a given week.
5oz bag of Mesclun mix
1 bunch of Radishes
1 4oz bag of Peashoots
1 head of Lettuce
2 Spinach bunches
1 bunch of Bok Choi
or Green Onions
1 bunch cilantro
"The Larkspur CSA was a highlight of my year. For the first time, I felt connected to my food. Thanks to Larkspur I ate vegetables that were in season and got to try a number of new vegetables and recipes. Delicata squash, daikon and radicchio are some of my new favourites. Alix and Doug are so generous with their knowledge and I loved hearing updates from the farm. Alix and Doug are committed to sustainability and food justice and I'm really excited to be a part of what they're doing in a small way." - Portia Larlee
"This was our first year trying a CSA share and we are very happy we did. The quality of the vegetables and herbs grown at Larkspur farm was excellent and the freshness was like nothing you would ever get at a supermarket. We enjoyed everything we got, but some highlights were the tomatoes that were so sweet and juicy, and the beautiful mixed greens that would stay crisp and delicious for over a week (on the rare occasion they lasted that long). Knowing the produce was all grown organically was really important to us too. We can't wait for next summer!" - Kathi & Lee
